Two main programs encompass the majority of G.A.L.A.'s activities. The first is, Sustainability in Action. Learning and practicing ways of building social capital while restoring ecological integrity.. This program includes all of G.A.L.A.'s ongoing educational opportunities like the study circles, film nights, theme-potlucks, and homesteading workshops, as well as our community projects like Raise a Rope for Climate Hope and Wolfeboro-Area Farmers' Market. G.A.L.A.'s second program is, The Sustainability Pillar Project Strengthening relationships between society, economy, and ecology . This program includes G.A.L.A.'s advocacy efforts such as the Wolfeboro Sustainability Initiative by way of the Wolfeboro Master Plan, as well as the Buy Wisely Locally Guide.

Inevitably, G.A.L.A.'s two programs Sustainability in Action (education and community service) and The Sustainability Pillar Project (advocacy) will often overlap. Nevertheless, we understand that some people may more interested in one program more than the other. We also know that most of you would like to stay updated on all of G.A.L.A,'s activities.
