Pork Hill Farm is an organic vegetable, herb, and flower farm in the town of Ossipee, New Hampshire. They offer a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, wholesale, and retail orders for pickup or delivery. And they just so happen to be G.A.L.A.’s neighbors here at the Ossipee Mt. Grange Hall in Water Village at the end of Pork Hill and Water Village Road (Rt. 171)! Come visit us both!
D Acres was founded in 1997. The mission of the organization is to function as an educational center that researches, applies and teaches skills of sustainable living and small-scale organic farming. Striving to improve the human relationship to the environment, the center functions as a demonstration farm to model exemplars of healthy living. Sharing a communal living situation, individuals come to respect and share values of interdependence and love of nature. In addition, the organization supports educational activities directed toward improving the quality of life of residents and the larger community.
The mission of Wild Gift is to support a Network Leader Council of 50 Wild Gift leaders to work collaboratively for the stewardship of wild nature and sustainable community development. The program was founded on the belief that exceptional young men and women, who believe in inclusive societies that have integrity, practice sustainable lifestyles, and are mindful of their stewardship responsibility to future generations, are needed as leaders. Wild Gift supports these better world entrepreneurs who work in industry, the arts, education, the environment, politics, and the professions to build communities whose citizens live in harmony with each other and wild nature.
