Study Circles

Study Circles are a great way to come together with other community members in an informal, yet inquisitive, atmosphere to explore more deeply those issues of social and environmental concern. G.A.L.A. hosts ongoing Study Circles based on courses from the Granite Earth Institute (GEI). Visit the GEI link to read course descriptions and learn more about the organization.

As of March 2009, G.A.L.A. facilitated four GEI study circles in the Wolfeboro-Area including, Voluntary Simplicity, Choices for a Sustainable Lifestyle, HEalthy Children, Healthy Planet, and Discovering a Sense of Place.

The next study circle titled Menu for the Future is scheduled to begin in January 2009. These study circles are open to the public. Contact G.A.L.A. today to learn more about the study circles of sign up for Menu for the Future. Limited spaces available.
