G.A.L.A. put the fender blender through a couple of test runs recently, dishing out new recipes of fruit, juice, and Stonyfield Farm yogurt smoothies and we certainly couldn’t have done it without the help of Chelsie DeWitt, G.A.L.A. volunteer extraordinaire!
Chelsie helped out at two major events, the Alton Home & Garden Show and Plymouth State University’s Earth Jam. She was there to set up, break down, and get her heart pumping as she helped pedal up the delicious treats.
Chelsie’s interest in G.A.L.A. stems from her own love of sustainability and the great outdoors. As a childcare worker, she has the pleasure of seeing children’s eyes light up on a daily basis as they get to see, touch, and smell all that nature has to provide. She is familiar with the innocent way they experience the wonders of the earth and believes this is an important part of childhood. She also spends her free time gardening and lives her own life with sustainability principles in mind.
G.A.L.A. is thrilled to have Chelsie on board with us and she is an excellent volunteer. Thank you Chelsie for all the hard work we put you through pedaling the fender blender and for all that you do for the environment in your own life and work!!
