Starting to worry that your growing season is coming to an end with these chilly August nights and September around the corner? Fear not! G.A.L.A. is ready to help you extend the season so you can impress your Thanksgiving and Christmas guests with freshly picked spinach, arugula, lettuce, radishes and other greens straight from the garden! Let us help you eat greens from your garden this winter with the construction of a simple cold frame!
Cold frames are just one of the features of G.A.L.A.’s volunteer-driven Sustain-A-Raiser program, which also includes construction of raised beds, clotheslines, compost bins, and rain barrels, as well as the installation of solar hot water. This is how it works – a) you call us and say your interested b) we come to your house and discuss design, develop a materials list, and pick a date c) we show up on that date with all the materials and a team of volunteers and by afternoon’s end you are on your way to a more healthy, sustainable, and purposeful future! It’s that simple.
Consider hosting a Sustain-A-Raiser today and join many other community members who already benefit from this sustainable home and yard makeover service. For more information or to schedule your Sustain-A-Raiser contact GALA at 603-539-6460 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
