G.A.L.A. & The Jackson Five

Dear G.A.L.A. Members, Friends, & Community,

We hope this note finds you cozy and warm where ever you may be.  First and foremost, we want to say thank you for helping make 2012 a hugely impactful year for sustainable community building.  Together, we . . . .

• Cut the rug with 75+ people on the Contra Dance floor,
• Engaged 50+ volunteers in Sustainable Home & Yard Makeovers,
• Screened “Fixing the Future” to a full house at the Red River Theater,
• Collaborated with 20+ farms & 30+ volunteers for Farm to Table,
• And can expect 14 graduates from our first Permaculture Design Certification Course in January.

That’s just a sampling of achievements from 2012.  Take a peek at some of our photos from this year here – G.A.L.A. Photo Albums.

As you may already know, at the end of each year we, like most nonprofits, ask for your support to help keep this important work alive.

With all the hustle bustle of the holidays, we’d like to keep this refreshingly simple, brought to you by the original Jackson Five man himself . . .

We are so grateful for you – our supporters, our inspiration, our volunteers, and those holding us accountable to our big and bold goals.  We dream of strong communities where people feel connected to the well being and health of their neighbors, backyard streams & ponds, furry friends, and of course, their own whole, unique self.
We think this dream is totally attainable. Why?  Because we’re confident you’ll join us in working toward it one step, one day, one Sustain-A-Raiser at a time.

May your Holidays be full of Good Tidings!

With deep Gratitude,

Josh Arnold
