This year Slow Food Carroll County is celebrating Terra Made Day by savoring unusual flavors & culturally significant foods from the Ark of Taste; a catalog of rare and local breeds of livestock, beverages, vegetables, fruits, grains & other foods that are on the verge of extinction. We will be gathering on December 10 to share a meal, potluck style, and learn more about the Ark of Taste, Terra Madre, and the meaning of Slow Food.
Come and bring a dish that holds a significant place in your life… maybe an old family recipe, or something you grew and preserved in some way. We will share food, discuss food local culture and memories, and the Slow Food Carroll County Board will share a short presentation or film.
We will gather at 6:00pm at the Wolfeboro Public Library in the conference room. Please bring a dish to share, and if you have any questions please contact Nadine San Antonio, the Slow Food Carroll County Board Chair, at 603-539-6767. For more information about Slow Food, please Click Here
