Making Wine, Mead, and Cider Workshop

Learn about the historic needs and methods to preserving fruit crops by fermentation. Come learn from Matt Trahan and Ash Fischbein, founders of the award-winning Sap House Meadery, and Tim Smith, registered Master Maine Guide, about one of the simplest ways to stretch your food through the winter – fermentation! Tim Smith will cater to the low-budget, low-effort method, while the guys at Sap House will offer a little more insight into larger scale and greater precision methods. In addition to learning the complete process and getting your questions answered from these aficionados, you will get to take home your own experimental quart of delicious wine.
