Mary Beth Bryant receives Volunteer of the Month!

June’s Volunteer of the Month award goes to someone who has been with G.A.L.A. since the very, very, beginning.  Mary Beth Bryant’s contributions span everything from completing the organization’s initial 501c3 tax-exempt status application, to spending all day in the kitchen preparing Chili & Chowda for G.A.L.A.’s annual First Night Fundraiser, to perhaps the most important – everyday fiscal management as G.A.L.A.’s Treasurer.

With a background in bookkeeping and demonstrable smart business sense, Mary Beth keeps track of G.A.L.A.’s cash flow, budget, payroll, and other administrative, behind-the-scenes, tasks that keep G.A.L.A. alive.  There is no doubt, whatsoever, that G.A.L.A. would not be what it is today without the daily commitment from Mary Beth.  If you find yourself in downtown Wolfeboro, be sure to stop by Made on Earth to let MB know how much you appreciate her hard work and dedication to sustainable community.  THANK YOU!!
