bwwd-09-logo

New Hampshire’s 2009 Green Commute Week is upon us. This week, May 11-15, all NH residents are encouraged to commute to work by bus, train, carpool, bicycle, or foot. In culmination of the week’s events, New Hampshire is also participating in the National Bike/Walk to Work Day on Friday, May 15th.

In addition to reducing your eco-footprint, not to mention the social joys and benefits of green commutes, participants are also eligible for many giveaways including an overnight stay at the Mt. Washington Resort in Bretton Woods. Learn more by visiting these links – http://www.nh.gov/dot/nhbikeped/ and http://www.bwanh.org/.

Be a G.A.L.A. go getter and travel green this week!
