Solar Raisin’ Season is Here! Join us this Saturday!

There are still several open volunteer slots for the season’s first Solar Raiser this Saturday in Wolfeboro!  RSVP today by visiting our Facebook Page or with the contact info below!

No prior experience necessary, just a willingness to lend a hand and share a smile!  Come along and learn some handy skills, make new friends, and help create a cleaner planet – not bad for a Saturday’s “work” eh?  Check out this video to see what’s involved and call us if you you’d like to participate – we would sure love to have you there!

The objective of a Solar Raiser is to help, “bring down the cost of installing renewable energy systems, educate the homeowners hands on about how their system works, develop a support network of knowledgeable families, provide local tradespeople an avenue to learn about installing renewable energy systems, have fun and to build community connections while we all strive to conserve energy and prepare for life in a lower energy world.”

G.A.L.A. is a proud Community Partner of PAREI.  Please contact Carol for more info and to RSVP for Saturday by calling 520-8060 or email carol@galacommunity.org
